Conquer Any Terrain with Vacuum Tires
KuKirin A1 electric scooter features 10×3″ tubeless hybrid tires + front/rear GEL suspension for stability on rough terrain.
Extended Battery Life for Worry-Free Exploration
Equipped with a 48V 13Ah battery with BMS protection and 7–8h charging, KuKirin A1 provides up to 45 km of range at medium speed (with a 65kg load).
Quick Folding Mechanism
KuKirin A1 is designed with a one-button quick folding mechanism, making it easy to fold and unfold the scooter in just a few steps. Once folded, the frame is securely locked to prevent accidental unfolding during transportation, ensuring safety and stability.
800W of Powerful Performance
With its built-in 800W hub motor and sine wave acceleration, KuKirin A1 delivers smooth, consistent power and 45 km/h top speed.
Front and Rear Dual Disc Brakes
KuKirin A1 features dual disc brakes with power-off functionality, ensuring quick response even at top speeds. With a braking distance of 6-8 meters, it guarantees safe stopping in emergency situations.
Intelligent Control Interface
KuKirin A1 features a high-definition intelligent screen, providing real-time status information such as speed, remaining power, mileage, and current gear. The intuitive interface allows you to switch driving modes and view historical travel records, keeping you in control of every ride.
Ask Us Anything
The A1 is rated for 45 km/h and up to 45 km from a 48V 13Ah battery — about 624 Wh. That quoted range assumes a lighter rider, flat ground and a moderate speed setting. In practice, a 75 kg rider on mixed city streets should expect 32–38 km, while riding consistently near top speed will pull that closer to 28 km. The 800W motor is a meaningful step up from entry-level scooters and gives the A1 enough acceleration for traffic-light starts. Charging takes 8–9 hours. Because 45 km/h exceeds the legal limits in Germany, France and Spain, the A1 is intended for private land and off-road use only.
The A1 is rated for gradients up to 20°, which covers most urban streets, ramps and gentle hills with a rider aboard. Its 800W single motor delivers around 25 N·m of torque, enough to keep momentum on moderate slopes without the scooter bogging down. Two factors matter more than the rating: rider weight, and how you approach the hill. Starting a climb from a standstill puts maximum load on the motor — carrying speed into the slope makes a noticeable difference. If your route regularly includes longer or steeper climbs above 20°, step up to a dual-motor model such as the G2 Ultra or G2 Master, rated to 26° and 28° respectively.
The A1 has a maximum load of 120 kg, which covers the large majority of adult riders. Weight affects the scooter in three specific ways rather than simply making it slower. Acceleration softens first — the 800W motor still pulls, but with less urgency. Range drops next: moving from a 75 kg to a 100 kg rider typically costs 10–15% of real-world range, so a realistic 35 km becomes roughly 30 km. Braking distances lengthen last, and heavier riders should plan for longer stopping distances on wet surfaces. The tyres are 10-inch tubeless, which handle kerbs and uneven surfaces better than the 8-inch setup on the S1 Max.
Charging the A1 from empty takes 8–9 hours with the supplied 54.6V 2A charger, so an overnight charge is the normal routine. The 48V 13Ah pack holds about 624 Wh. Three habits extend its life: charge before the battery drops below 20%; avoid leaving it at 100% for days at a time, particularly in warm weather; and store it cool and dry. If you ride only short distances, charge to 80–90% for daily use and top up fully before longer trips. As with all lithium packs, avoiding both deep discharge and prolonged full charge is what keeps capacity high over several years of use.
The A1 shares its platform with other KuKirin commuters, so parts are straightforward to source from our EU warehouse. At a 1,000 km service check, focus on four items: brake pads and discs, which wear fastest in wet or gritty conditions; tyre pressure, worth checking monthly for both safety and range; the folding mechanism and stem bolts, which should be re-torqued every 200–300 km; and the charging port, which should be inspected after any wet ride. Tyres, brake pads, tubes and chargers are the parts most owners eventually need — all are stocked, with step-by-step repair videos in our resource centre.
