FAQS
Ask Us Anything
The G2 Max is rated for 70 km from a 48V 20.8Ah battery — about 1,000 Wh, one of the largest packs in the mid-range. The claim assumes a 75 kg rider on flat ground at a moderate speed level. On a realistic mixed route with hills, stops and 10–15 °C weather, a 75 kg rider should plan for 52–58 km; holding 55 km/h for long stretches brings that to roughly 45 km. That is the practical value of the bigger battery: a 25–30 km daily round trip can be done without charging every day. Charging from empty takes 10–11 hours, so overnight is the normal rhythm.</details>
Yes — the G2 Max is rated for gradients up to 30°, which is significantly steeper than the G2 (20°) and G2 Pro (19°). Its 1000W single motor and 20.8Ah pack are what make that possible: the larger battery supplies current the smaller packs cannot sustain on a long climb. Real conditions still matter. A 75 kg rider on dry asphalt can expect close to the full 30°, while a heavier rider, loose gravel or a wet surface brings the practical ceiling to around 22–26°. Sustained climbing also drains the battery faster than the range figure implies. Off-road tyres help traction on loose ground.
A full charge takes 10–11 hours with the supplied 54.6V 2A charger, so an overnight charge is the normal routine — a 1,000 Wh pack is simply not designed for fast charging. Three habits extend its life. Charge before the pack drops below 20% rather than running it flat. For daily commuting, stopping at 80–90% is gentler on the cells than holding 100% for days; charge fully before a long ride instead. Store it cool and dry — a hot car in summer or an unheated shed in winter is what kills capacity fastest. If storing for a season, leave the pack at 50–60%.
The G2 Max has a maximum load of 120 kg. Weight affects it in three ways. Acceleration and hill climbing soften first, though the 1000W motor keeps more margin than the 600–800W models. Range drops next: moving from a 75 kg to a 100 kg rider typically costs 10–15% of real-world range, so a realistic 55 km becomes roughly 47 km. Braking distances lengthen last — the twin disc brakes are strong, but heavier riders should expect longer stops, particularly in the wet. The 10-inch off-road pneumatic tyres give better grip on gravel than road tyres, at the cost of slightly more rolling noise on asphalt.
Spare parts for the G2 Max ship from our EU warehouse, including the off-road tyres, brake pads, chargers, controllers and mudguards. At a 1,000 km service check, four items matter. Brake pads and discs wear first, especially in wet or gritty conditions. Tyre pressure should be checked monthly; under-inflation both wears the sidewall and reduces range noticeably on a heavy scooter. Stem and folding-mechanism bolts should be re-torqued every 200–300 km. Finally, inspect the charging port after any wet ride. Step-by-step repair videos are published in our resource centre.
